I had joined all these coaches to launch my “self reliance” business where I teach people how to NOT be dependent upon others!

Now, they wanted me dependent upon THEM.

I Regrouped.

I went back to my roots.

I had STARTED in Business & Technology.

I oversaw a large sales team for Amway in the 80s, quickly followed by Melaleuca sales team management. I managed a retail tech supply store and many other side jobs in Tech.

I drafted business standards and procedures for one of the largest US Air Force's Tech divisions in Europe in the 90s but also I solely improved the on-base NCO clubs' casino and club businesses. I was deployed to the warzone and coordinated the entire tech division for the warzone base. When I returned and left the Air Force, I was hired to head ALL of the region's AAFES movie theaters in Germany when the District manager was out on medical leave, then the on-base Morale-Welfare-Recreation division brought me on board. I then transferred to direct the civilian Tech division of an Army base on the other side of Germany for the Department of Defense.

When I returned to the US, I started my own web development business and was quickly contracted to lead the entire online division of a large corporation with several locations. At the same time I became the Treasurer and then President for a startup non-profit with an annual budget of $75,000 and filed their government paperwork for 501(c)3 status. I also assisted several automotive

locations with improving their business, as well as operating the tech division of a Medicare Compliance company.

After a few years and a few family medical issues, I decided to get into take it easy and go full time with a global conglomerate, where I quickly moved up the ranks in corporate leadership, driving the near-shore and off-shore divisions for a major tech client. I then transitioned to the Process Improvement division of a major pharmaceutical corporation. My disability began to really flare up so I decided to take a quiet job as a manager of a small automotive shop with several locations in my town. When that became too demanding I started offering medical and insurance benefits to people and businesses as my own boss, before finally becoming too sick to do any of that anymore.

Once I was completely disabled, I began tinkering with web based systems and invented my own fully automated web based business management system that our family business has been selling for nearly 10 years at this point!

Basically, I've done it ALL! Military, “government servant”, tiny businesses, small businesses, medium businesses, large businesses, non-profits, major corporations, including a multi-billion dollar a year global conglomerate! This doesn't even include times I volunteered to help church, friends, or family with various things like research work for lawyers, etc!

I'm sick for an average of 25 days every month but it's even worse in the Spring & Fall when the weather is flip-flopping! I've gone 2-3 months where I've been almost entirely unconscious (25-31 days of pain). But in the Summer and Winter, I can usually be on the lower side of the average at about 15-20 days of pain, if the weather stays calm. A single thunderstorm will have me in bed for up to a week. A span of 10 days of storms will have me UNCONSCIOUS, starting a few days prior and lasting a few days after it ends.

But my family still needs to eat. We still need to pay bills. Disability income only goes so far. And when my husband finally had to quit his job to stay home and help take care of me, we were suddenly in trouble.

We had to get creative. We had to use our ingenuity! We had to get efficient with every minute I could sit up.

We had to implement my second favorite phrase from the Air Force….

We had to work SMARTER, not “harder”!

...SO MANY of my clients have to do all this WHILE holding down 1-3 jobs per adult, just to pay their bills!

Doubting Myself...

I still doubted myself. I went through coach after coach after coach…. His idea grew larger and larger until I couldn't deny it any longer.

He even went so far as to get into programming in university classes just to help when I couldn't do it. He got certified in several areas, he continues to research & learn as much as he can. He's the GOAT! (Yes, I really said it and made him put it in the website, despite his groaning!)
